Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training changes name to New Zealand School of Tourism.

ACG Education recently expanded its Tertiary & Careers Division with the acquisition of New Zealand School of Tourism (NZST), formerly known as Sir George Seymour and Travel Careers & Training Ltd.

After a combined effort of over 40 years in business for both the Travel Careers & Training and Sir George Seymour National College of Airline, ACG Education is proud to announce the official name change to New Zealand School of Tourism.

Tom Parker, New Zealand School of Tourism Business Development Manager says “this name represents where we stand in the market – a specialist tertiary provider of tourism-based qualifications that is located nationwide. It simply states who we are and what we do, leaving no room for interpretation”.

“Although our name and branding are changing to a new fresh look, there are some things that will stay the same. Our philosophy on tertiary facilitation practices, our vision for what we can achieve and our approach to strategic relationships with our partners will remain as solid and strong as it has always been. In terms of how we work – it is business as usual” says Parker.

New Zealand School of Tourism is extremely proud of the new name, and empowering our students to become ‘work ready, world ready’.

New Zealand School of Tourism is New Zealand’s largest private tertiary establishment that specialises in training programmes for the airline, travel and tourism industries.

The New Zealand School of Tourism started as Travel Careers & Training in 1985 with one campus in Wellington. Several years later they opened a second campus in Auckland before purchasing Sir George Seymour College in 2006.  This gave the company seven campuses and it has since grown to nine campuses throughout New Zealand.
